Organizational Tools for the CFY

organizational tools for the cfy

If you’re anything like me, this is what your desk looked like after you started your CFY. There were so many new things happening, and so little time to keep my environment and myself organized and in check. These are the organizational tools for the CFY I wish I had.

CFY Reflection Journal

The SLP CFY Reflection Journal will help you reflect daily, weekly and monthly on your CFY experience, establish and track your goals, and figure out your strengths and areas of need. This journal will include a job description page, daily, weekly, and trimonthly reflection pages and goal setting worksheets for all stages of the CFY process.

Data Sheets

One thing that can be hard to do as a CF with a full caseload for the first time is track data. Here are data sheets for multiple types of communication challenges.

CFY Hours Tracker

This is an hours tracker for the entirety of your SLP CFY! Once you download your Google Drive Link, go to file –> make a copy

Once you have your copy, edit and tweak to your liking. Each week has pre-set formulas to track how many hours are left for the next segment, and how many are left till the end of your CFY.

By using these organizational tools for the CFY, your desk, and hopefully your mind, can look just like this! Comment below your thoughts on these organizational tools!
